Group Therapy

“No one is unique, there is no human deed or thought that is fully outside the experience of other people.” – Yalom.

We often suffer in silence; feeling isolated, afraid and ashamed. A well functioning therapy group creates an environment that encourages interpersonal risks so we can begin to understand what it’s like to be known and accepted.  The practice of relating authentically with others fosters a  sense of connection as feelings of shame and isolation begin to fall away. There is something comforting about hearing other men say, “me too.”
